Happy New Year 2006

Nizar and me spent our new years eve at the KLCC gardens. Lovely and doting husband that he is, he treated me, his dad and brother to my favourite fish place - Manhattan Fish Market. For a change, he got me the Manhattan Fish Flaming Dish for 2 - but it was way more than that. Somehow, my oyster that I had earlier procured for myself had disappeared from my plate.

After rushing back from Redang, we had to rush to Fadh's sis's wedding reception in Dewan Perdana Felda. Mr Cameraman was covering the event, so we couldn't miss it at all...

The BBGals at Alexis

The BBGals (well, some of them) attended an impromptu getogether at Alexis GE Mall to celebrate Ms. Adita's farewell to the UK... lucky her. She got a scholarship to do her Masters and will be joining her dearest hubby there.

At night, Other Half and me rushed over to PJ Hilton to attend my Sports Club's Annual Dinner & Dance. Me being myself, staing in line with the theme "The Magic Is You" decided to attend the dinner in my KGPA wedding reception outift.
Again, I was on duty.

Sigh.. being in the Secretarial Department means we get to be the Management's Gofers (as in go fer this, go fer that....). Hence, I was drafted on to be the emcee for the Company's Long Service Award. Held in KLGCC, it was a very merry do.. I had so much fun doing it, I don't mind doing it again!

Merak Kayangan reception - 24 July 2005

We held our hall reception at Merak Kayangan, Balai Felda, Kuala Lumour on Sunday night. Graced by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Syed Hamid Albar, Tan Sri Sanusi Junid, Dato Ruslin (Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur) and their wives as well as my Chairman YM Raja Tan Sri Muhammad Alian (who used to be Dad's Chairman - what a small world!), it was quite an event. Full of Johoreans, ex-UM alumni and friends from our London days.
Natalia Izra gave such a good speech, the whole hall was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Tan Sri Muhyiddin and Datuk Syed Hamid were very much impressed with her. One of our guests were heard to comment that they wished they had a son who could marry our Ms Natalia. hey girl.. how about it?
My bunga manggar was gorgeous and fragrant...
The highlight and surprise of the night was when I took the mike on stage and serenaded my hubby to bashfullness with Dream A Little Dream of the soundtrack of French Kiss. Hee hee. Shocked some of the Consplant people with my singing abilities... hee hee. Also overheard was my Finance Director stating that the next Company Annual Dinner will feature yours truly as the guest artiste. Yeah, right, Alan. Pay me Misha Omar's fees ok?
